YELLOWKNIFE: Mediation between PSAC/UNW members and the City of Yellowknife has been unsuccessful.
The employer informed the Union’s bargaining team today that they weren't willing to table a new offer, and it truly feels like the employer did not come back to the table to bargain in good faith.
Unless the employer is willing to return to negotiations in good faith before midnight tonight, Local 345 members will be off the job as of 00:01 on Wednesday, February 8.
