Scholarships
Josie Gould Memorial Scholarships
The Josie Gould Memorial Scholarships are awarded every year to children or spouses of UNW members. 10 Scholarships are awarded to assist students with post-secondary education. Each scholarship is worth $3,000.
The first Jose Gould Scholarships were awarded in 2002 when Josie was still alive. To date 66 students have won scholarships.
After Josie's death in August 2008, the scholarship was renamed the Josie Gould Memorial Scholarship.
Nearly 100 scholarship applications are received by June 30th each year.
