The nominations periods for the positions of RVP for Somba K'e and Kimberlite closed on June 22 and 27, respectively.
SOMBA K'E
There was one nomination received as of the deadline and Randy Thompson has been acclaimed as UNW Regional Vice President, Somba K'e Region.
KIMBERLITE
There were no nominations received as of the deadline. Gerry Mainville, President of Local 3050, will continue to represent the members of the Kimberlite region at the UNW Executive table in accordance with the resolution passed at 2021 UNW Triennial Convention.
There will be another call issued prior to the next Triennial Convention in 2023.
