The UNW stands in solidarity with all our members in Hay River, K’atł’odeeche First Nation, and the surrounding areas who are affected by the flooding and evacuation.
We extend our thanks and appreciation to the members of Locals 6, 21, and 22 who are working tirelessly to ensure their fellow residents are safe and cared for. We also want to recognize our members in surrounding communities and across the NWT who have mobilized to fundraise, provide shelter, and assist our fellow northerners in their time of need.
