Members have voted in favour of ratifying their tentative agreement after participating in ratification votes on December 8. The agreement will be valid until March 31,2028.
Some of the highlights of the new collective agreement are economic increases, vacation travel assistance paid in one lump sum annually with incremental increases, Letter of understanding on Workplace Violence and Critical Incident Stress Management Debriefings, Premiums for shelter shift workers and for delivering training and National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a paid holiday.
Ratification kits with all information in the new Collective Agreement are available at PSAC office.
