Our next round of bargaining with the City is coming up fast, and your bargaining teams want to keep you posted on what is going on!
Members from both the MED and Main unit teams met this week to start preparing for this round of bargaining with the City. Your teams did an initial review of proposals in preparation for the upcoming round. We will be meeting again Jan 4 and 5 to continue the work.
Bargaining dates with the employer are set for Jan 8-12 and Jan 15-19, 2024. Stay tuned for updates after this round.
Frances Baroutoglou has been assigned as the union’s negotiator for this round. The PSAC Regional Representative assigned to Local 345 is Katherine Kellner. She will lead our mobilization for this round of bargaining! If you want to get involved, get in touch with Katherine via email .
Keep an eye out for more information from your teams. If you’re not getting the Local’s emails, make sure to send your current email to Local 345 AND the UNW Communications Officer.
