Local 03
Local 03 - Inuvik Region
Local 03 is the largest of three Inuvik Region locals. The others are Local 19 and 29. Local 03 members include all GNWT employees, including Inuvik Health & Social Services Authority employees and those residing in Fort Good Hope, Tulit'a Deline, Norman Wells, Colville Lake, Aklavik, Fort McPherson, Inuvik, Paulatuk, Sachs Harbour, Tsiigehtchic, Ulukhaktok and Tuktoyaktuk.
Aurora College employees do not belong to Local 03. They belong to Local 29.
Local 03 also includes employees of Deline Housing, Aklavik Housing, Inuvik Housing, Tuktoyaktuk Housing, Grizzly Marine Services, Mackenzie Valley Construction, and all employees of the Beaufort Delta Education Council, and the Sahtu Divisional Education Council, who are not teachers.
Local 03 members also include marine workers at Tsiigehtchic and 8 Mile Ferry Crossings.
Inuvik Regional Vice President, Val Robertson represents Local 03.
